Plunkett: Two And Two Makes Three, But Only When I Screamposted: 08/28/09 23:02
Plunkett is a musical and domestic duo with a strong background in the British Folk-Rock Sound. Their 2008 CD, Folk Songs, is replete with melodic, well-produced, and intelligently written songs. There are no surprises here, no shocks to the system. Just fine vocal performances, well-executed playing, and melodies and harmonies that take you along in an enjoyable musical flow. It's a mellow kind of thing, but don't expect it to remain in the entirely acoustic vein. Plunkett knows how to take electronic elements and modern influences and blend them into a tasty concoction without upsetting more conservative sensibilities. from "Folk Songs" Purchase CD from CDBaby» Visit This Artist's Page At IndieHeart 0 Comments View/Hide or Add Comment
