Artist Bio:
Born in Michigan, Chicago based Derek Clegg has come a long way from his early recording days. Without the backing of a label or help of a producer, Derek has been forced to develop his own sound. "It's not exactly what I imagined I would have to do to release a cd. In the back of my mind I always thought someone would hear my music and I would be on my way. I was very foolish to think it would be so easy." Acting as Engineer, Producer and Multi-instrumentalist, Derek has created a layered masterpiece of beautifully written songs that bring to mind Wilco, David Gray, Ryan Adams, and Damien Rice.
