Artist Bio:

The Cellophane Flowers are an avant-garde rock band with a pop sensibility. One look or listen at kookie Italian singer Francesca and you’ll instantly forget your name, what you’re doing and why you’re doing it while you try and work out exactly where she’s coming from.

She has a unique style, bringing an Italian flavour to songs that talk of alienation in a world of manufactured beauty (hence the name) and recalls the work of the likes of Kirsty McColl and Nina Nastasia. The Cellophane Flowers are based in London and bring together a stew of international flavours with Brazilian-British guitarist, Armenian-British drummer and Maltese-Australian-Italian bassist

The band is readying itself for the October launch tour for their spanking new single ‘If I Was A Girl’, produced by The Animal Farm and mixed by Oli Wright at Miloco Studios.
