Sunday Strange: Underground Song (Mother Earth)

The Web site for Phoenix, Arizona band, Droll, has disappeared from the web, and I haven't heard from the band for years. However, the best thing about the web is that it makes sure that all of the things that once existed remain available for discovery when they are abandoned. (Then again, this may also be the worst thing about the web...there are entire Web sites dedicated to the Mullet hairstyle, after all.)

The mullet aside, one of the things that I have always hoped would happen is that more people discover this odd gem of a song by Droll entitled "Underground Song (Mother Earth)". I have referred to it as a tapestry in the past, but perhaps it is more of an audio crazy quilt - made of scraps in a random arrangement, but somehow it creates a coherent and beautiful whole.
